As normal routines resume and holiday blues set in, a lot is going on in September to keep you entertained!

Cowley Road Carnival Oxford

COWLEY ROAD CARNIVAL IS BACK

The last time we got to celebrate Cowley Road Carnival was 2019!

The theme is ‘Our Nature Our Future.’ This vibrant community event will be back on the streets with plans including the iconic Cowley Road procession, Eco Floats, Street Parties, and House Floats introduced in 2021 (the first of their kind). There will also be workshops for individuals and community groups to make their own Carnival costumes and the opportunity to take part in the procession.

Who does not love a market?

Take a tour around the farm, either alone or with a guide. Indie members Ronni Allen Photography, Annabel’s Patisserie, Nic Vickery, Team Tea, Earth Ale, Nomo Skincare will be there, make sure to say hi!

Offbeat Festival 2024

OFFBEAT FESTIVAL

Offbeat is Oxford’s festival of local voices, new talent, and limitless creativity!

This festival is an exciting artistic partnership between three Oxford theatres: the Old Fire Station, Oxford Playhouse, and New Theatre Oxford.

Offbeat has a wide range of exciting performances, late-night open mic events, interactive arts and crafts activities, and family-friendly events.
