ABOUT

Sally-Anne Stewart is a printmaker based in the Florence Park area, working chiefly in linocut. Her work is inspired by nature, but also by the urban environment; and her subjects range from animals and plants to Oxford colleges.

Producing both single- and multi-colour prints, she enjoys the opportunity to transform subjects through bold lines and colours, and the fact that printmaking can be spontaneous or very complex.

Sally regularly runs linocut workshops in Oxford, follow her on Instagram for information on forthcoming classes.

Being an artist in Oxford has opened up a whole new world of opportunity to me – there are countless beautiful sights for inspiration, a great cultural scene and a fantastic network of artists, venues and people who love art!

I love Sally-Anne Stewart’s work, bold and beautiful images with a refreshing use of colour.

– Bridget Wheatley, Owner at Bridget Wheatley Contemporary Jewellery

I absolutely love Sally-Ann Stewart’s work. It’s thoughtful, inspiring, and beautifully crafted. Her workshops create a welcoming, safe space to explore linoprinting while freely playing with your own creative ideas. As adults, we’re so rarely given opportunities to be playful and creative, and with Sally’s gentle guidance and encouragement, the experience felt both joyful and enriching. I had a truly wonderful time and came away feeling inspired and confident to keep creating.
