Etta Rain Ceramics at Artweeks
An exhibition of beautiful and functional pieces that bring joy and a sense of tranquillity to their users. Head over to Makespace Oxford to see Etta Rain ceramics, along with other talented makers during Artweeks.
27-29th May
Oxfordshire Artweeks is the UK’s oldest and biggest artist open studios & pop-up exhibition event. This year’s festival takes place from 6th-29th May, during which you will be able to feast your eyes on a huge range of creative activity by hundreds of artists, makers and designers in artists’ studios, pop-up galleries, glorious gardens, ancient churches, medieval tithe barns and hundreds of other interesting venues.

Pay only what you feel and what you can afford anonymously. All funds raised will be used to help the OX4 Food Crew continue to tackle food inequality in OX4.

Veronica Wells: Faces Amongst Spaces exhibition
Sarah Wiseman Gallery is ecstatic to welcome back Veronica Wells for her solo show ‘Faces Amongst Spaces’, exploring the ever-evolving fashion world in her figurative brush strokes.
Veronica Wells draws her influences from popular culture, examining images that portray an idealised way of life. Fashion, material possessions, image, style and relationships are all explored enticing the viewer into her world. Mixing rough and broad brushstrokes with finer, more intricate details, Veronica Wells paintings questions ideas of perfection.

Celebrate Tap Social Movement opening fifth venue
A weekend of events and specials to celebrate Tap Social Movement opening its fifth venue in The Covered Market.
To celebrate its launch, The Market Tap will pour 50 free beers on a first come, first served basis (one per customer) on Thursday, 4 May, and Friday, 5 May

‘Gary, I Love You’ at Modern Art Oxford
Experimental musical duo, GARY (Octavia Freud – sardonic personal and political electronica and Phil Jarvis – Consignia comedy collective) present their debut stage show. An evening of absurdist musical theatre and award-winning stand up comedy
An evening not to be missed with support from two award-winning stand up comedians on the London scene and opening proceedings will be two exciting Oxford based stand ups.
