FAQs

Mindfulness will help you discover that you don’t have to live with all the unhelpful thoughts and feelings that our minds tend to throw up in reaction to stressful experiences. Mindfulness practice doesn’t get rid of problems – while we’re alive we’ll always have challenges because we can’t always choose what happens to us or how other people behave – but we can learn to have more choice in how we respond to life’s events.

This course is for anyone experiencing stress whether that’s from work, relationships or other factors outside your control. You don’t need to have done any Mindfulness before. To feel the full benefits you will need to commit to doing 10 – 30 minutes of home practice each day for the duration of the course. You’ll be invited for a pre-course chat with the tutor to confirm that the course is right for you (if you’re going through a big life event or experiencing an intense period of anxiety or depression it’s probably not the best time to do this course).

People attending this course are often suffering symptoms of stress like mild anxiety, insomnia, aches and pains, trouble concentrating and switching off, feeling isolated or like life has lost its sense of joy…
