Support local businesses this spring, at the Indie Oxford Spring Market at Tap Social taproom in Botley.
The Indie Oxford Spring Market will be popping up at Tap Social‘s taproom in Botley on Saturday 9th March from 10.30 am – 3 pm, for a day celebrating brilliant local indie businesses, just in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday 10th March. Independent Oxford has been championing Oxfordshire indies for nine years and the Spring Market 2024 aims to once again show off the best Oxfordshire has to offer. Stall holders include: LORDS Fragrance House, Jam Puppy Designs, Custom Made Jewellery, Charlotte Berry Jewellery, Sitaarah Skincare, Charlotte Spencer Candles, Rainbow & Spoon Boutique, Etta Rain Ceramics, Leafology, A Heart Shaped Cherry, Sally-Anne Stewart Linocut Prints, Little Letterbox Learning, Abingdon Distillery, Proof Social Bakehouse and more.
The range of stalls will offer gorgeous jewellery, artwork and prints, ceramics, natural skincare, candles, food, accessories and unique gifts for Mothering Sunday.
As well as loads of indie stalls, Little Letterbox Learning, who make flashcards that offer a playful approach to learning, will be hosting the kids crafting corner this year, with some awesome things for kids to make while you shop. Proceeds from the kids crafting corner will go to Yellow Submarine to support children with learning difficulties.
Hosts Tap Social Movement will be keeping the beer and Proof Social Bakehouse pastries and pizzas flowing for a day full of indie fun.

Sasha will be bringing her gorgeous collection of candles and home fragrance inspired by wonderful places across the planet, and memories made there. All made in Oxfordshire, UK using natural oils, sustainable natural waxes, and eco friendly packaging.

Rainbow & Spoon
Amanda will be selling a hand picked selection of gifts, accessories and homewares, with a focus on sustainable and fairtrade pieces.
“I’m taking part in the Spring Market, firstly because it is organised by Independent Oxford and Tap Social and together they make the perfect combination for a day of excitement and good vibes. Secondly it is a great opportunity to get myself in front of indie loving shoppers, always good! Charlotte will be bringing a gorgeous selection of silver and gold jewellery to the Spring Market, all handmade in Oxfordshire. Charlotte is a Fair Trade Foundation registered goldsmith.

Charlotte Spencer
Drawing from her knowledge of science, herbalism and aromatherapy, Charlotte Spencer will be bringing quality botanical wax candles, melts and reed diffusers made from fine ingredients, beautifully scented and hand poured in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.
“Indie markets are my absolute favourite to attend. The passion behind all the makers is evident and gives customers great insight into their products, which are unique and always a bit different. I also love to bounce ideas off other makers!”

Etta Rain Ceramics
Rachel makes beautiful and practical ceramics here in Oxford. She specialises in wheel-thrown ceramics, but also uses the traditional Kurinuki technique to craft tea bowls. Her work includes a range of ceramics, from tea bowls and mugs to vases and serving bowls.

Nicky will be bringing a range of hand made contemporary crochet pieces, made using recycled and sustainable yarns. Her range includes joyful hand crocheted gifts, accessories, home wares, crochet kits and patterns.

Abingdon Distillery
Abingdon Distillery is a small batch spirits producer with an award-winning portfolio. All of it’s products are hand-crafted right in the heart of Abingdon and the distillery prides itself on using traditional copper pot stills coupled with modern distilling methods. Jordan will be bringing some of the distillery’s newly launched rum as well as a selection of gins.

Little Letterbox Learning
Sarah, the creative force behind Little Letterbox Learning, draws inspiration from her son’s hands-on learning experiences. With a background in hospitality and HR, she transitioned to crafting action-based flashcards, putting her passion into a product initially for her own children. Each design reflects her heartfelt commitment to meeting diverse learning needs, ensuring inclusivity and stress-free learning. Sarah will also be running the kids craft corner at the market too.
Leafology
Yvonne at Leafology will be selling a range of products for hair, skin & home, handcrafted in small, fresh batches in Oxfordshire.
