Welcome to the July edition of the Indie Events in Oxfordshire.
Summer is my favourite time of year. Sunny days, great vibes, and so much going on in Oxfordshire. Let’s see what is coming up this July.


Alice’s Day 2025
Celebrate Alice’s Day.
The Story Museum is getting ready for Oxford’s city-wide celebration of all things Alice in Wonderland. The theme for 2025 is ‘Quests and Adventures’, and there is a full programme of activities taking place.

Sketchbook Journal Workshops
Learn how to keep a sketchbook journal.
Lorraine Berkshire-Roe is hosting this workshop at The Cluster, where you will be introduced to the basics of keeping a sketchbook journal. You will learn various techniques during the workshop.

Rusty Street Party 2025
Ready for a street party?
The Rusty Bicycle, part of the Dodo Pub Co. invites you to join their Rusty Street Party, where they will once again be collaborating with Truck Store to bring the best local up-and-coming musicians.

Open Brewery Day
The perfect day out.
Tap Social is hosting another Open Brewery Day at their Kidlington production brewery for a casual afternoon with fresh beers on tap, their full canned range, Proof Pizza, and summer vibes.

Divine Schism
Modern Art Oxford are hosting Divine Schism.
Join Divine Schism as they take over the Yard to welcome Faith Eliott alongside leather.head songwriter Toby Evans-Jesra and Letterlocked, the wonderful queer folk project of Jen Meyer and Josie Turner.

Pickle Workshop
Get pickling this July.
Fiona from Cranston Pickles is hosting a casual yet informative pickling class to teach you about vinegar-based pickles. By the end of the workshop, you will leave with solid pickling knowledge and have the confidence to continue to do some pickling at home.

Yin Yoga & Tea Meditation
Relaxing Yoga and Tea workshop.
Every Body Studio has teamed up with Tiny Teahouse to bring an afternoon of yoga and tea meditation. James and Katie will help you carve out a little space for quiet connection and exploration of the senses. The aim is to ease and soothe you towards a moment of quiet.

#BeNice Festival
The #BeNice Festival is back!
Hosted by the local youth mental health and suicide prevention charity, Nai’s House, the festival is being hosted this year at Pingle Field in Bicester. The festival raises vital awareness and funds for Nai’s House, a local charity founded in memory of Dené “Nai” Dorling Barrett, whose life and legacy continue to inspire change.
