Oxford is bursting into life this month with May Day celebrations back in action, the Oxford Town & Gown back to it’s regular May date, and loads to celebrate, learn and discover this May at independent businesses in Oxford and across the county. >>

SUPPER CLUBS

Join Fiona from Cranston Pickles for a seasonal Pickled Supper Club at Silvie on Iffley Road on Friday 13th May. Fiona will be showcasing an array of pickles alongside other local producers in a tasty & casual 4 Course Spring Menu. Book the Cranston Pickles Spring Pickled Supper Club.

WORKSHOPS & CLASSES

Sally Harris, at Mindfulness in Oxford is hosting a Mindfulness for Stress Course from Mondays 9 th May – 30 th June 2022 at 7 – 9 pm. This is a friendly online group mindfulness course to help you reduce tension and manage stressful situations with greater ease. This course is free for Oxfordshire residents thanks to support from The Mix community centre and Abingdon & Witney college. Book the Mindfulness for Stress Course.

Head to Bicester Golf Club with The Project PT for an Adventure Fitness Day on Saturday 21st May, 9-2 pm. Sprint, swing and scramble over their fiendish obstacle course – no one gets left behind! EXHIBITIONS

The Sarah Wiseman Gallery in Summertown is hosting a May exhibition – ‘The Dog Show’. It’s launching on the 7^th May featuring lots of gorgeous drawings, paintings and prints by the beloved children’s author and illustrator Catherine Rayner.

Ronapainting Gallery in Jericho is hosting an exhibition with original drawings by Chase Marsden until 29th May.

CELEBRATIONS

Head to Flo’s in Florence Park for it’s Flo’s: May Day Celebration! Enjoy food and drink including a family BBQ, and delicious food from the café.
