Indie Oxford Festival: Celebrating 10 Years of indie community
Get ready for a day packed with creativity, community and indie spirit as we celebrate 10 years of Indie Oxford at the Indie Oxford Festival! Taking place at Tap Social Taproom this Saturday 22nd March, this milestone event will be an unforgettable celebration.

Live music, DJ sets and singing workshop
Music lovers, get ready! We have an awesome line up of brilliant musicians including Robin Bennett, Tongue and Widget. Plus, Elena Harris, choir leader and outdoor educator, will lead a special singing workshop at 12.30 pm. Elena will guide festival goers through harmony singing, helping us connect with nature and each other through music. Find out more about the Indie Oxford Festival music line up here.

Flow Records Pop Up Record Store
Chris from Flow Records at Common Ground will be setting up a pop up record shop for the day at the taproom.

Kids’ Activities from Caper and Wood Festival
Families, we’ve got you covered! Caper will host a ‘Make an Elmer the Elephant’ workshop, where kids can create their own colourful, patchwork Elmer puppets. Meanwhile, Wood Festival will be providing Happy Squares which will spark creativity, allowing children to dream big and build big with sustainable construction toys.

Find the kids craft area on the mezzanine from 12 – 4 pm. Under 18s go free to the festival from 12 – 8 pm.

Fitness Fun with The Project PT & Every Body Studio
Let’s get moving! The Project PT will bring interactive fitness activities, including Blazepod reaction games, Indo Board & Slackline sessions, Cornhole, battle ropes and boxing padwork. Expect fun challenges and a celebration of inclusive fitness.

For a more mindful movement experience, join Sarah James of Every Body Studio for creative yoga sessions that blends music, movement and community spirit.

Find Sarah’s 30 minute yoga sessions on the mezzanine at 1.30 and 2.30 pm.

- Backgammon with Hoyle’s of Oxford – Whether you’re a pro or a beginner, join us for a friendly game of backgammon. Emily from Hoyle’s will be on hand from 3 – 5 pm to show you the ropes.

Happy Cakes is an OG Indie Oxford member and is an asset to the indie scene in Oxfordshire, providing cakes and bakes for charities and social enterprises alongside bespoke orders for every occasion. Each order of hand made cupcakes and cakes is made with fun and love from owner Julia’s Summertown kitchen.
Missing Bean is kindly providing its pop up bar for the afternoon so there will be awesome coffee available to keep you caffeinated through ’til the evening. Missing Bean Coffee Roasters went from being the first independently owned coffee shop in central Oxford, to a proud member of Oxford’s ever growing coffee scene.
