Oxford has a proud tradition of great bookshops, and at Caper we’re excited to bring a brand new one to the east of the city, where we haven’t had a bookshop for many years. We believe that the power of narrative changes the world. That the stories we tell (and the books we read) feed minds, inspire change and (sometimes) move mountains.

Caper book store on the Magdalen Road is a great addition to the Magdalen Road Quarter neighbourhood. A fun and welcoming place for the whole family and the fastest turnaround when ordering a book that is currently not in stock!

Caper is one of the newest additions to the Magdalen road and truly welcomed. A children focused bookshop and events space that also has a fantastic selection of books for adults (don’t miss the cookbook section).
