With the Indie Oxford Christmas Market just over a week away, we’re definitely starting to get into the festive spirit! Over the next 5 weeks there are some great events across Oxfordshire bringing together local makers, artisans, indies and producers to celebrate all things local. If you’re looking to shop local, find unique and gorgeous gifts, here’s the Indie Oxford edit of Christmas Markets to check out in Oxfordshire in 2023. >>

WASTE2TASTE WINTER FAIR

Announcing Waste2Taste‘s very first Winter Fair. A showcase of local artists, producers, crafters, growers and small businesses of all kind.

The winter fair will be held at the new Waste2Taste café at the Shotover View Centre, which will also be open serving drinks and cakes.

FLO’S CHRISTMAS MARKET

Flo’s – The Place in the Park festive market will be proudly showcasing independent makers and small businesses.

An evening of festive food and drinks, music and fairy lights in a super cosy atmosphere. The perfect place to start your Christmas gift buying by shopping local.

FESTIVE FUN IN THE COVERED MARKET

Santa Claus is coming to town! A weekend of free festive fun in Oxford’s Covered Market as part of the Oxford Christmas Lights Festival.

As well as a chance to meet Jolly Old Saint Nick, families will be able to take part in interactive tours of the market with What Not Theatre.

Head to The Market Tap by Tap Social so the little ones can write, decorate, and post letters to Santa in a special North Pole Mailbox.

WASTELESS WONDERLAND

Festive market reimagined at Westgate Oxford. Get ready for an eclectic line-up of attractions, events and experiences at Westgate Oxford this festive season! Keeping sustainability in mind, there will be heaps of hands-on fun in the lead-up to Christmas.

Play your favourite Christmas tunes with The Junk Orchestra’s giant Music Mushrooms, enjoy plenty of delicious food to keep you fuelled and so much more.

YATTENDON WINTER MARKET

With the festive season around the corner a trip to the Christmas-tree growing village of Yattendon is a must.

Modern Makers Collective returns for the Yattendon Winter Market: A Celebration of Modern Craft.

This year’s market presents an exceptional group of 24 artists, designer-makers and craftspeople, carefully curated for their expertise and originality.

CHRISTMAS MARKET AT EARTH TRUST
