The Indie Oxford Christmas Market is back on Saturday, 14 November, from 11am – 5pm at Tap Social’s Botley taproom.

The market will kick off a whole day and night of festive fun, food, and drinks to celebrate 10 years of Tap Social Movement.

During the afternoon visitors can expect an epic day filled with independent market stalls, fun kids’ activities from Cowley Road Works, street food from Smiths of Bourton, award-winning Tap Social beer, and raffle prizes.

Afterwards, Tap Social’s 10th birthday celebration includes a few words from Tap Social’s co-founders, live dance floor-ready DJ sets from Kwassa Kwassa and sorryimlate, party games, and the debut of three new limited-edition brews based on Tap Social’s bestselling beer Time Better Spent, a 5.1% Juicy IPA available in nearly 300 Waitrose & Partners supermarkets across the UK.

The market stalls will feature Indie Oxford members selling everything from handmade candles and ceramics to jewellery, small-batch chocolates, and much more – the perfect opportunity to support local, independent businesses this Christmas season. Entry to the taproom is completely free all day.

Rosie Jacobs, Indie Oxford Director, said: “The Indie Oxford Christmas Market is one of our favourite events of the year. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the festive season, support brilliant local businesses, and enjoy a truly community-spirited day out. Every purchase made with an indie has a real impact, helping to sustain and grow our vibrant local economy.”

“The market is all about celebrating Oxfordshire’s vibrant independent businesses, and is a chance for the community to shop small and make a positive impact this festive season.”

Tess Taylor, Tap Social Movement co-founder and director, said: “We’re so stoked to again partner with the wonderful Independent Oxford and showcase Oxford’s brilliant independent businesses as part of our 10th anniversary party. We’ve also got our longtime friends Kwassa Kwassa spinning big tropical beats in the evening, and can’t wait to debut three brand-new beers, each a homage to our flagship beer Time Better Spent.”

“I really can’t believe it’s been a decade since we first started, and all of us are so grateful for the incredible support from our communities that have helped get us here. Really hope to see and party with lots of you!”

Tap Social’s Botley taproom is located at 27 N. Hinksey Lane, Curtis Industrial Estate, OX2 0LX.
