Welcome to the June edition of the Indie Events in Oxfordshire.
Was I the only one who got used to the bank holidays in May? Anyway, let’s take a look at what is going on in Oxfordshire this June.

New Exhibition at Fusion Arts
Don’t miss out on FRONTLINE.
Fusion Arts newest exhibition explores the various series of works Ryan Hawaii has produced over the last ten years, and FRONTLINE acts as an early career retrospective.

Rest and Renew with Yogipod
A yoga, earth, and sauna solstice day retreat.
Join Yogipod for a day of connecting with nature, your yoga practice, and your breath. This nourishing day retreat is designed to honour the power and stillness of the Summer Solstice.

Summer Exhibition at Sarah Wiseman Gallery
Another one for the art lovers.
Sarah Wiseman Gallery is kicking off its summer exhibition where each artist investigates landscape and nostalgia through painting, printmaking, and mixed media.
Opening Saturday 14th June, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00-17:30

Casting for Beginners
Interested to learn the basics of casting?
Join Amy Surman for a one-day workshop to learn the foundations of casting using the sand casting technique. Learn what can and can not be done using this method, along with other techniques and tips.

Portraiture Class at Art Oxford
Attend a Portraiture class this May.
ArtOxford is running a drop-in Portraiture class, which is £10 per session and is hosted by an experienced artist-teacher.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 10:00-12:00

Jericho Comedy Club
Oxford-based comedy production company, Jericho Comedy, continues to host their comedy club at Common Ground every Saturday.
There is both an early show, which starts at 18:00, and a late show that kicks off at 20:40.

Art Exhibition at The North Walls
Another incredible exhibition at The North Walls Art Centre.
Isabel Fishlock’s latest exhibition, Dreamlands is a vibrant showcase that features a stunning range of paintings that vary in scale and draw you into a world brimming with colour.

Weekly Walks at The Dog’s Spot
Nothing like some fresh air on a walk.
The Dog’s Spot‘s weekly walks continue, where you can meet new people (and hounds) and enjoy a relaxed stroll through Abbey Meadows and along the river. Don’t worry if you do not have a dog; they are not mandatory.
Every Sunday and Tuesday, 10:00
