Winter is just around the corner and the nights are drawing in, but as tempting as it is to hunker down, it’s a great time to wrap up warm and enjoy indie events as the festive season starts in earnest.

A date for your diary! Join Indie Oxford at Tap Social’s Taproom in Botley for an awesome Christmas Market jam packed with awesome indies stalls, plus pizza, seasonal drinks and freshly baked goodies from Proof. House of Fun will also be returning with their Santa’s Grotto and kids craft corner.

Join The Oxford Wine Company for a very special event at the Jericho Wine Rooms as they gear up for the most magical time of the year; Sherry Week. Tom Brady and Katy Barker, both self-confessed sherry geeks will guide you through a range of delightful sherry expressions from their portfolio.
To accompany the sherry journey you’ll enjoy some delicious cheeses provided by our good friends at the Jericho Cheese Company.

Head Chefs Michael Carr and Ben Wood have created a unique, seasonally-led and truffle inspired menu that pays homage to the luxurious and earthy flavours of truffles. Each course has been designed to showcase the unique allure of this prized ingredient, carefully paired with the legendary Barolo wines, meticulously curated by our Owner and Wine Director Kent Barker.

Pompette’s Apéro Hour, served 5-6 pm Tuesday to Friday, is the perfect way to try Oxford’s favourite French restaurant for under a tenner. Join Etta Rain Ceramics at Lofgrens Nordic Style, to celebrate the holiday season. Rachel will be showing off her ceramics in this beautiful shop, and you’ll be able to drink authentic Swedish mulled wine out of her little cups, made especially for the occasion.

On the last Sunday of each month artists come together to show and sell their creative goods.
There’s a nice range of stall holders selling paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, textiles, illustrations and more.
The venue serve a lovely menu available and there’s good coffee from the majestic Jericho Coffee Traders. It’s a lovely daytime event, family friendly and a great chance to meet and chat to the creative community in Oxford.

Join our Intro to Frame Loom Weaving workshop to learn the basics of weaving and create a wall-hanging.
This workshop would suit those new to weaving and looking to learn a new craft skill. By learning to weave on a frame loom, participants will learn the basics of weaving, without needing to understand the set up process of working on a table loom.

Join The Maker Space for a day of mosaic making on this mixed ability workshop. Suitable for a complete beginner looking to start your first mosaic or a more advanced artist looking for help with a current project this session is suitable for you.
