10 Events In Oxfordshire: February 2022
The sun is shining and the first green shoots are appearing from the cold earth, I can feel spring is on it’s way, and with it an emergence from the hibernation this winter has blanketed us in. If, like me, your keen to get back out there, meet up with friends and support brilliant Oxfordshire indies, then I hope this blog provides some community inspiration this month.

Flo’s | The Place In The Park at Florence Park, are hosting an evening market on Friday 4th February from 4-7 pm called Love Your Community with food, community art and local groups including such as Restore, SHARE Oxford’s Library of Things, Replenish, and The Oxford Poetry Library’s Many Voice Collection.
EXHIBITIONS
The Sarah Wiseman Gallery in Summertown is hosting a new exhibition by Rebecca Swainston called Embodyment from 22nd January to 26th February with a private view on Wednesday 9th February from 6 – 8 pm. RSVP for the private view by emailing info@wisegal.com.
The RonaPainting Gallery in Jericho is hosting an exhibition by local artist Susan Moxley from 20th January to 26th February.
PUB QUIZZES
Support the incredible work of local Oxfordshire charity Yellow Submarine at the Abingdon Mayor’s Charity Pub Quiz at The Crown & Thistle on Friday 11th February, 7 pm. Email Ella if you would like to attend this event. Tickets cost £5 per person with all proceeds being divided by ADYP and Yellow Submarine.
