ABOUT
Wilding is a restaurant, wine bar and wine shop for all day dining with wine at the heart of everything, in the vibrant area of Jericho. It’s a place where wine and food is matched and served in a creative and unpretentious way. In the kitchen, seasonality, local provenance and biodiverse, foraged ingredients are key. A balanced menu of Sea, Garden, Field & Dairy caters to all. Produce is responsibly sourced (e.g. hand-dived scallops, ex-dairy beef) and responsibly managed (e.g. butchery, fermentations handled in-house). The restaurant has 50 wines by the glass, including 10 on tap, plus a further top end list available from an enomatic dispense system. Diners can also choose from the 400 wines for sale in the shop – available with corkage. Their list champions sustainable producers. The elegant and relaxing space has a light-filled conservatory, an elevated bar, an expansive garden terrace and a beautiful private dining room.

We are passionate about wine – everything starts and radiates out from there. We love it best when people are discovering new wines and we love hosting tastings to share and grow our knowledge together. Of course, wine tends to go very well with food and so we have done our very best to create some gorgeous plates which match well with every wine. We love what we do as it’s about helping people to have exciting, delicious, cherished moments together and we are so thrilled to be doing this in Oxford with its rich history, beautiful architecture and discerning community.

Our new favourite indie is Wilding, just a stones throw away from our shop on Little Clarendon street. Selling the most wonderful choice of wines, and the food is delicious, seasonal, local and foraged. It’s a real treat.
