Markets in Oxfordshire with an Indie Focus
The good old farmers market – for 100s of years they’ve been the staple for many market towns and villages across Oxfordshire, plus the city centre too. But they’re no longer just farmers selling fruit, veg and meat – they’re veritable powerhouses of Oxfordshire based indie businesses that enable you to get the much needed essential produce alongside craft gins, gelato, wine, plastic free refills, freshly baked breads and street food.
They’re also the place to meet producers and indie business owners face to face – to chat to them about their products and get to know them to the point they’ll have your weekly order ready for collection without you even needing to ask…
So, have you visited one of Oxfordshire’s markets recently? Because if not, or if you’re looking to visit a different one, here’s our guide to the best ones to visit to experience some of Oxfordshire’s brilliant indies.
