Indie Events in Oxford: December 2025
Welcome to the December edition of the Indie Events in Oxfordshire.
And just like that, it’s the final month of the year. Here’s hoping your December is filled with lots of festive cheer. As always, our incredible Indies have lots going on to keep you busy and in the festive mood.
Enamel Christmas Decoration Workshop
An evening of creativity and conversation.
Hosted at The Cluster, Lucia Goldsmiths is running a hands-on workshop where you’ll have the chance to design and create your own unique copper enamel Christmas decoration. Lucy Riveiros from Lucia Goldsmiths will guide you through it, and you will leave with a beautiful ornament to hang on your Christmas tree.

The Nutcracker
Are you a fan of The Nutcracker?
This Christmas, you can catch a brand-new theatrical take on The Nutcracker from Creation Theater at The North Wall Arts Centre. Adapted from the original E.T.A. Hoffmann tale and filled with wonder, mischief, and festive adventure. What better way to immerse yourself in the festive season than with a theatre show?

Sandy Lane Farm Christmas Makers Market
Who doesn’t love a Christmas market!
Sandy Lane Farm is hosting a Christmas market in their beautiful Threshing Barn for some festive gift inspiration. Talented local makers, including some of our very own Indie Oxford members, will be there to sell their creations and discuss their work.

Pickle Workshop
Get pickling this December.
Join Cranston Pickles for this workshop where you will learn all about pickling with vinegar with Fiona. You will leave with some incredible knowledge to continue doing your own pickling at home- ideal for any festive hosting.

Merry Sketchbook Christmas Workshop
More festive fun.
Lorraine Berkshire-Roe and The Cluster have teamed up for a festive sketching workshop. This special Christmas Sketchbook Journal Workshop will be a relaxing morning of festive creativity. Lorraine will take you through the basics of keeping a sketchbook journal.

North Aston Farm Shop Christmas Market
Another Christmas Market for the list.
Join our newest member, North Aston Farm Shop, for their Christmas Market in the barn. There will be Christmas trees for sale, live music, and tons of stalls selling local and organic food and gifts. Entry free!

Life Drawing
Destress with a Life Drawing workshop.
ArtOxford hosts a Life Drawing class run by an experienced artist-teacher in a relaxed atmosphere, and advice is given if required. There is a good range of models, and parking is available as well.

Tombola Night
Any Tombola fans?
Il Corno is hosting a traditional Neapolitan version of bingo, where you will have the chance to win some special prizes. The formula for each round is £8 = 1 glass of wine + 1 tarallo + 1 tombola card. Spaces are limited.

Indie Oxford Christmas Party
Join Indie Oxford to celebrate the festive season at The Port Mahon. Tickets include a welcome drink and snacks from The Port Mahon kitchen, pub quiz, Christmas jumper competition, and a chance to catch up and celebrate with other Indie Oxford members.
