Cowley Road Carnival Returns
Oxford’s beloved Cowley Road Carnival is back this September.
We last celebrated the carnival in 2019; which feels like a lifetime away. Make sure to mark Sunday the 1st of September, 12 pm to 5 pm in your calendar.

“I cannot stop smiling knowing we will be doing what we last did in 2019. As a local artist and parent, I am so honoured to be part of this exciting rebirth!” – Alex Singleton, Board Member

“The community needs to be ready for all this excitement. For example, next week we will be announcing our Mas Camp Programme, taking place in August, where the community can come and make or design their own costumes based on our theme ‘Our Nature Our Future.’ And that’s not all. We still have House Floats and Street Parties planned before the carnival. All these details are available on the Cowley Road Carnival website.”- Pax Nindi, Artistic Director and CEO

It is going to be a great day. We too, are so glad to see the carnival making a comeback.
Make sure to spread the word!
