“The Indie Oxford Christmas market signals the start of Christmas for us so we can’t wait! It’s always a great event where we get to meet customers both old and new but also catch up with some of the other great independent businesses around Oxford.
It’s a brilliant opportunity for people to get a headstart on their Christmas shopping, discover some exciting brands and show their support for local independent businesses, which is needed now more than ever!” Ashley, Wonky Food Co.
“What I’m most looking forward to during the market is for people to discover and touch our products and see the quality for themselves. As an online small business, it’s not always easy to gauge the products and seeing them in real life is another experience!” Maud Schmitt, Maudika
“I really enjoy seeing people shop local and its always lovely to have local customers! I love selling in person, chatting with customers in real life is always great. There are such a great selection of local businesses selling a real mix of fantastic products. I’m excited to be at Tap Social too. I feel like it will be the perfect venue for a drink and some Christmas shopping.” Anna, Custom Made
“I love the independent oxford community, you meet amazing people who all love to shop small and support their local communities, and I love being able to share my story, and enjoy seeing what scents people like, everyone likes something different! I also love meeting other traders, were all in the same boat.” Sasha, Lords Fragrance House
“I just love meeting up with the other traders, it gives me a real sense of belonging and it’s always so amazing to see what other independents are doing – Everyone is so fantastically inventive and creative! The set up and organisation is brilliant, and everyone is made to feel incredibly welcome. Being able to showcase my small biz in front of so many new faces is a must at this time of year, and it really is the most positive way to do it, everyone is so supportive from the organisers to the shoppers … it really does sum up the spirit of Christmas festiveness.” Amanda, Rainbow and Spoon
