SUMMER CELEBRATIONS, FESTIVALS & MUSIC
Head to Fitness at the Farm in Frilford, for Fit Farm Festival on Saturday 2nd July for a day filled with fitness and yoga classes and workshops, plus stalls, food and kids entertainment. Find out more & get your ticket here (kids go free!)
Treehouse returns for the 6th year of the festival in it’s beautiful home nestled under the White Horse Hill in Uffington on Friday 29 th July to Sunday 31 st July. This is an awesomely friendly and welcoming local festival to check out if you’re keen to dip your toe into the UK festival scene this summer. Fairtrade at St Michael’s are joining the Alice’s Day celebrations in Broad Street, Oxford from 11 am – 4 pm on Saturday 2nd July. The Up In Arms in Marston are getting ready to welcome you for a summer of fun with Beer, Beats & BBQ, a monthly party to celebrate summer. Head to the July Beer, Beats & BBQ party on Saturday 23rd July from 12 pm.
WORKSHOPS
Head to Every Body Studio on Sunday 3rd July for a Yoga and Myofascial release workshop. Instructor Sara has been using Myofascial Release, Yoga and Meditation/Mindfulness for many years as a way of managing pain and her relationship with it, to enhance recovery and improve her wellbeing. EXHIBITIONS
Following the success of ‘The Painted Garden’, Sarah Wiseman Gallery are returning to the garden as creative, expressive space, exploring the enduring influence of horticulture and gardening on visual art, with it’s summer exhibition ‘Fletcher Prentice and Dawn Stacey: The Artist Gardener’. The exhibition can be viewed from 9th July to 6th August.
View a new exhibition of surrealist works by Desmond Morris, presented at ronapainting gallery, Oxford. The exhibition will be on view from the 7 th until the 30th July and by appointment in August 2022. This will be his third exhibition in the gallery. A Private View will be held on Thursday 7 th July from 5 until 7 pm.
