ABOUT

Opened in September 2013, 2 North Parade is a neighbourhood produce store run by Peter Slade and Victoria Borondo.

The pair work closely with local farmers, producers and suppliers who focus on the quality, integrity and provenance of their produce. Fresh seasonal produce and the best artisan foods are at the heart of their range. They provide recipe ideas and guide you through the changing seasonal stock. Currently developing their own courtyard garden for fresh, cut to order herbs.

Check out these seasonal tartine recipe ideas from the team on the Independent Oxford blog, and Pete & Vicki’s interview about the 2 North Parade.

2 North Parade is hands down one of the best small produce store in Oxfordshire. Pete and Vicki’s team are passionate and friendly with an excellent selection of fruits, vegetables, ultra local dairy, bead, craft beers – there is always something to tempt you!

– Lizzie Webb, Owner at Oxford Yarn Store

We love 2 North Parade. They’ve curated a list of seasonal ingredients from local farmers, artisans and makers. There’s a clear focus on quality, integrity and provenance of their products, which means you can have a one-stop shop for all your favourite things.

With such quality ingredients, we love the care they take to present everything beautifully. There’s a nostalgic charm about the bundles of carrots in woven baskets, fresh bakes in the window and seasonal greens in metal basins.

– Alex Lewis, Owner at Earth Ale

2 North Parade is a gorgeous neighbourhood store with delicious local produce and vibrant, seasonal fruit and vegetables. It’s a great place to pick up Oxford grown asparagus in the early summer, milk from North Aston Dairy and fresh cheese from Norton and Yarrow.
