Passion and love of the industry is what we do here from the ground up. It fits in perfectly with the community feel of Oxford, and we love to be part of the changing culinary landscape.
– Ben Bateman, General Manager
Arbequina is one of my favourite places to have a relaxed meal with friends and guarantees an amazing taste experience. The atmosphere is really welcoming and I always leave looking forward to when I can return!

I love Arbequina – one of my favourite spots in Oxford!
– Olivia Lawrence, Owner at In Good Hands

I love Arbequina! It’s a buzzy neighbourhood restaurant, perfect for catching up with friends over some great food and awesome wine. As a veggie, I feel well catered for with amazing plates such as aubergine, whipped feta, molasses and pomegranate, and courgette, spring onions, romesco and smoked almonds. Yum!
– Rosie Jacobs, Independent Oxford
Arbequina – simply perfect tapas, lovely interiors, always welcoming & a real treat after a days work. They do amazing things with aubergines, the tortilla is the best we’ve ever had, & the desserts are fantastic , especially the Santiago tart is a must.
– Miri Allen, Co-Owner at Babylon Trading

Our go-to place – brilliant atmosphere, amazing food and lovely staff who are always so attentive and welcoming. Probably the best restaurant in Oxford!
– Atiqa Rana and Justin Temple, Co-founders at Sitaarah Skincare
One of my favourite places to eat in Oxford is Arbequina – the food is STUNNING and the sultry vibe works perfectly from day to night. So many dishes you don’t want to miss, but the specials are always worth trying too.
– Jacqui Thorndyke, Owner at Bitten Digital

Like a mini version of London’s Michelin-starred Barrafina – it’s a small menu, but they do it so well.
– Rebecca Mofford, Director of Operations at Gee’s Restaurant & Bar
