5 top tips for the Indie Oxford Christmas Market 2023

The Indie Oxford x Tap Social Christmas Market is back this Saturday 25th November at Tap Social Taproom, Botley.

Join us from 11 am to check out our curated pick of the best indie stalls, teeming with fantastic local gifts perfect for Christmas. Here are 5 top tips for the 2023 Christmas Market. >>

We have selected 18 indie businesses to bring their gorgeous gifts to the market this year, it really will be the perfect spot for local Christmas shopping.

Fun for all the family!

Local children’s holiday camp and activity provider House of Fun will be hosting a Santa’s Grotto and craft corner from 11 am – 1 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm.

What you need to know:

Santa’s Grotto and craft corner by House of Fun is £5 per child.

This includes an opportunity to meet Santa and participate in a festively awesome craft activity while you shop!

Food & drinks available all day!

Enjoy delicious pastries from Proof Social Bakehouse, plus freshly baked pizzas with Tap’s line up of criminally good beer or festive mulled drinks for Christmas cheer.

The market is completely free to pop in to. Come and soak up the festive atmosphere, and bring your friends and family for for a festive get together!

Live music!

There will be live music from 4 pm with the Botley Jazz Quintet. Listen to laid back tunes with a pint and a pizza.

Getting there

Botley Road is currently closed at the station however you can still walk or cycle from the city centre, and buses are still serving Botley Road (just walk under the railway bridge to catch a bus from Osney Island).

The taproom is a 5 minute walk from Seacourt park and ride.
