Indie Oxford is throwing its biggest event yet, the Indie Oxford Festival to celebrate its 10th Birthday.

Taking place at Tap Social Movement’s Botley Taproom, this 12-hour festival is a chance to celebrate Oxfordshire’s incredible independent businesses, live music scene and vibrant community. 

 Expect brilliant live bands, DJs, workshops, a pop-up record store and activities for all ages. This is an unmissable event for anyone who loves independent businesses in Oxfordshire, supporting local music and experiencing the best of Oxford’s creative indie scene.

What’s Happening at Indie Oxford Festival 2025?

There are tons of things happening across the 12-hours to keep you entertained. Find out what to expect:

Live music all day – A stellar lineup of brilliant local bands curated by Wood Festival, Young Women’s Music Project and Divine Schism.

DJ sets from 8 pm – Dance into the night with Oxford’s top independent DJs including Bob E Demons resident DJ at Simple.

Creative workshops and activities – Fun for all ages, including sessions from Wood Festival x Caper and Hoyle’s of Oxford.

Pop-up record store – Browse vinyl and discover new music at the Flow Records Pop-Up Store.

Coffee from Missing Bean – Get your caffeine fix from one of Oxford’s favourite independent coffee roasters.

Fitness fun with The Project PT and Every Body Studio– Get moving with engaging activities throughout the day for all ages.

Craft beer and PROOF pizza – Enjoy award-winning Tap Social craft beer and delicious pastries and pizza from PROOF Social Bakehouse.

Over the past decade, Indie Oxford has supported hundreds of local businesses, helping them thrive and creating a powerful network of creatives, business owners and entrepreneurs. This festival is a thank you to the incredible indie community that keeps Oxford unique and of course, to everyone that supports it. The Indie Oxford scene is getting stronger each year and bringing the community together for this celebration is a special occasion on its own.
