Amy runs a lovely friendly store tucked away at the top of Cowley Road selling a fantastic array of jewellery making supplies. Amy also holds regular workshops from silver smithing to beaded jewellery for beginners as well as skilled jewellers. Bicycle Blooms
Bicycle Blooms is an artisan flower shop in East Oxford, set up by owner Jane Gandon, creating bespoke bouquets for all occasions. Her emphasis is on seasonal flowers, seed heads, berries and foliage that reflect the year. Flowers are always a winner for Mother’s Day!

France Baudet opened her Oxford based beauty salon over 20 years ago. Fair Trade at St Michaels
Fairtrade at St Michaels was the first shop in Oxford to offer a high quality range of fairly traded goods from across the globe, safe in the knowledge that our friends in the developing world are being advantaged and the environment is being honoured. We love this treasure trove of gorgeous gifts right in the heart of town. A perfect place for finding an ethical gift for your mum.
Indigo
Sarah & Josh set up Indigo over 10 years ago on Cowley Road. Their mission is to support small producers and suppliers, and offer something different to their beloved Oxford community and earn an honest crust along the way. We totally love the beautiful La Eva bath & body range they stock in store, which is made in Oxfordshire.
Linden Chocolate Lab.
Yatir & Nitzan set up their chocolate lab at the end of 2018 and create chocolate bars with significantly less sugar, without compromising on the delicious rich flavour. Check out their new website to see their range, including this gorgeous Tasting Gift Box, perfect for Mums with a sweet tooth!
Oxford Aromatics
Joy Hetherington runs Oxford Aromatics, an independent Oxford-based company that sells a variety of fabulously aromatic products. The shop has been in Oxford’s historic Covered Market since 2008, establishing a reputation for selling quality, reasonably-priced products. We love these beautiful Reed Diffusers from Shifa Aromas. Check out their range in store, perfect for creating a calm space for your mum this Mothering Sunday.
Oxford Yarn Store
Karen Draisey opened Oxford Yarn Store opened in December 2012 and is a thriving hub for knitters and crocheters of all abilities and backgrounds. It offers a welcoming environment and support from its staff with projects, and in creative decision-making. Its ethos is to promote the pleasure and creativity of knitting, crochet and other fibre crafts in an atmosphere of shared skills and knowledge. The Oxford Yarn Store Workshops make a perfect gift for creative mums!

Philippa is a photographer specialising in documenting family life and relaxed weddings. She runs a photography workshop called The Motherhood, where mums come and learn about manual mode, storytelling techniques, and documenting those honest everyday moments. This workshop makes a great gift for Insta savvy Mums!
