Step into Georgia Arben-Crowther’s world of art at Window Galleries until early December. Georgia is an artist and Art Psychotherapist-in-training, using her creative talents to bring comfort and community to those touched by dementia.

The upcoming exhibition titled “There is No Door Yet There are Many Windows” is designed to bridge the gap between care homes and the public. It features personalized windows created by residents of Vale House Specialist Care Home, becoming an installation representing a collective home, reflecting the diversity of perspectives within the community.

The exhibition aims to shed light on the experience of those affected by dementia, emphasizing the importance of holistic care for a better quality of life. The project, inspired by a resident’s comment, seeks to break down the isolation often associated with care homes. It highlights the role of art as a transformative tool for empowerment and as a means to enhance palliative care settings.
