Join local artist Eden Fay for a relaxed hand-quilting workshop at The Old Stables, a friendly community space in Wantage, and make your own mini quilt!

What is included in my ticket?

• All materials needed to make your mini quilt- fabric, batting, thread
• Instructions to create your mini quilt
• Tea and cake from the wonderful Down to Earth cafe
• Support from Eden, your enthusiastic crafting cheerleader
• 2 hours of relaxed creativity!

About the session

There is no competition, no judgement, no expectation, no pressure here. Just a supportive atmosphere to explore and play around gently.

What are mini quilts?

Mini quilts are exactly as they sound; tiny little quilts!

Do I need to be able to sew?

Mini quilts require hand-stitching. If you’re unfamiliar with sewing, or haven’t for a while, Eden will happily guide you through the process.

How do I get there?

The workshop is taking place at the Conservatory, The Old Stables, Stirlings Close, Wantage OX12 7AU.

It is a short walk from the Waitrose carpark and can be accessed via a footpath opposite the BP Garage (Wallingford Road and Seessen Way).

Who is leading the session

My name is Eden (she/her). You can see my exhibition Befriending my Brain on display at The Old Stables from 2nd September to 13th October.

I am a mindful art facilitator and an artist, and love working with groups and individuals to help them be kind to themselves through creativity.
