Join the Modern Art Oxford team and special guests, Professor Georgia Watson and Jonathan Packham to celebrate contemporary visual culture and design in this community get-together, open to all.

Performances and workshops throughout the building will bring artists and audiences together to explore the nature of our individual experiences in gallery spaces.

Georgia Watson is Professor in Urban Design and Associate Lecturer in Planning and Urban Design at Oxford Brookes University. Her professional expertise lies in the area of urban morphology; urban regeneration; local community involvement including different age groups; the improvement of local urban areas; place-identity; retrofitting cities for sustainability; urban growth management; and healthy cities.

Jonathan Packham’s research explores the interface between real and virtual spaces (in the context of VR headset scores), graphic notation and the notion of the composer-performer. Jonathan is an active member of the Electronic Music Practice and Research Group (EMPRES).
