Guided Tasting Menu & Wine Pairing with Daniel Richardson – £99
On Saturday 21 March, Oxfordshire celebrates its first Indie Oxford Day. A chance to support the independent businesses that give this city its character.
At The Folly, independence is simply how we’ve always done things.
We’re not part of a chain. We don’t follow a template. We cook what’s in season, work with people we know, and welcome guests as ourselves.
To mark the day, we’re hosting a special guided six course meal with wine pairing in our River Room with Executive Head Chef Daniel Richardson.
An Evening by the River
This will be a small, intimate dinner. Just a handful of guests gathered around one table overlooking the Thames.
Dan will serve a seasonal tasting menu inspired by early spring. He’ll talk through the dishes, the ingredients, and the thinking behind them. It’s relaxed, personal and a little bit behind the scenes.
More dinner party than restaurant service.
Celebrating Local Makers
Throughout the evening we’ll also be showcasing some of the independent producers we’re proud to work with:
- Tap Social Movement : Welcoming the guests with crisp beer from Tap Social Movement
- Jericho Coffee Traders : Finishing the six course tasting menu with lovely coffee from Jericho Coffee Traders or..
- Cardews of Oxford :Finishing the six course tasting menu with tea.
Great restaurants don’t stand alone. They’re shaped by the people who grow, roast, brew and blend around them.
