At Gatineau we don’t produce anything that we wouldn’t eat ourselves. It gives us great joy to work in a place where we can serve amazing fresh products to our clients. They even say that they struggle to find the same quality when they go away to France – so we must be doing something right for sure! Being in Oxford means that we also have a great variety of people from various backgrounds and countries making it all even more interesting when hiring new staff or even meeting new clients. I think we are very lucky to be positioned in Summertown where there is a great sense of community as well.

Gatineau in Summertown = deliciousness. Throughout lockdown they delivered vital cake to our door (although my waistline is now questionable). The most delicious patisseries, they also do birthday messages….and available for pick up in store or delivery.

If you want incredible bread, pastries and patisserie, you must make a trip to Gatineau. My favourites are Le Biskelia, Brioche stuffed with Vanilla Cream and their perfect Madeleines. Gatineau’s outside seating is a great spot to enjoy a cup of Missing Bean coffee and a pastry.
