
25hr Hot Yoga Conversion Course For Yoga Teachers (in person & online) with Alessandro Gozzi
If you’re a yoga teacher eager to broaden your expertise and start teaching hot yoga, or if you’re already leading hot yoga classes but haven’t yet completed a formal training, this course is designed for you. Gain the knowledge, confidence, and certification you need to safely and effectively guide your students through well-structured and sequenced hot yoga classes.
Join in person in Oxford or live online for 2 days of learning. In addition, there will be some preparatory work and homework to complete the 25 hours training course. This course focusses on teaching you how to safely and confidently create and teach Hot Yoga Flow and Power classes.
COURSE CONTENT:
Part 1: The dynamics of teaching Yoga in a heated environment
• The history of Hot Yoga
• What is Hot Yoga
• Selecting optimal heat levels
• Hot Yoga health and safety issues
• Hot Yoga Dos and Don’ts
• Preparing yourself and students for teaching and practising Hot Yoga
PART 2: How to sequence a Hot Yoga Flow class
Teaching a Hot Yoga class requires special consideration of the heated environment and how it affects the body.
We will show you how to design a class that is specific to the hot room, including:
• Frameworks for class sequencing
• How to create and maintain a flow
• Appropriate breath for Hot Yoga
• Appropriate asanas for heat
• Teaching technique
• How to teach to music
Part 3: Learn our Hot Yoga Flow class
During the training course, we will cover both how to teach the class and why we teach it the way we do. At the completion of the course, we will provide you with our Hot Yoga Flow class sequence so that you are ready to start teaching straight away.
Practical Teaching Experience
Practice is important in learning how to teach anything new. A significant amount of time will be spent practising how to teach a Hot Yoga Flow class. At the end of the course you will have the confidence and knowledge to teach your first Hot Yoga Flow class, and also have developed and taught your own Hot Yoga Flow class.
Please note this course will not provide you with the knowledge and expertise to teach the Hot26 (Bikram Yoga series). Please check out the information on our Hot26 Teacher Trainings.

A minimum of 200hr Yoga Teacher Training qualification
