10-Year-Old Inspires New Kidswear Line with Ducky Zebra

Indie Oxford member, Ducky Zebra, has launched a brand new collection, which was sparked by a handwritten letter from a ten-year-old customer.

The unisex collection, More Moor!, is inspired by Jessica’s imaginative drawings and ideas, based on her love of the Yorkshire Moors.

Now 12, Jessica collaborated closely with the Ducky Zebra team to bring her vision to life – from the animal characters and colours to the collection’s clever name.

“The hippo shows you can be big but kind and the bee shows that you can be small but strong.” Jessica wrote in her original letter.

These thoughtful details, along with the setting of the open moorland, became the foundation for a playful, character-led collection that reflects Ducky Zebra’s core values of kindness, confidence, and creativity.

As with all Ducky Zebra collections, More Moor! is made from soft GOTS-certified organic cotton, designed to be worn and loved across seasons. It includes thoughtful features like two-way zips for easy dressing and roll-down cuffs that allow room to grow. Each item includes the brand’s signature embroidered splash ‘power button’ – a reminder for children to splash kindness and confidence, even when it’s tricky.
