ABOUT

The Garden of Oxford was established in Oxford’s historic Covered Market in 1984 and has gained an enviable reputation for being one of the region’s finest flower shops.

They have a particular passion for English grown cut flowers and are proud to offer clients the finest seasonal varieties grown in this country by personally selecting the very best available at London’s New Covent Garden Market.

Their experienced, qualified staff create beautiful bespoke arrangements to order, and offer a comprehensive floristry service.

Prompt, reliable delivery-service is available throughout Oxford and the surrounding area, and the team can also arrange national deliveries via the e-florist network.

In addition to fresh cut-flowers, The Garden also stocks indoor plants alongside a stunning range of Kew Gardens pottery.

You can also find a range of seasonal garden products, including seeds, bulbs and garden plants as well as a range of terracotta pots.

At Christmas The Garden is known for their supply of top-quality, English-grown Nordmann-fir Christmas trees and wreaths, that line the avenues of The Covered Market, alongside locally-grown holly and mistletoe.

You can see the team’s passion for flowers, but they also have great passion for their customers, and are committed to the highest levels of customer service – delivering beautiful flowers with a friendly smile.

The Garden Oxford

The team at The Garden are passionate …..about our work, our shop, our customers , and The Covered Market! Our shop constantly evolves, both as the seasons change, but also as the fashion for flowers and plants changes, and we thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to exercise our creative ability on a daily basis. Oxford is a truly amazing city – the architecture of the numerous University buildings and the vibrancy that is created by the student population make it a unique place. The Covered Market is often lauded as “The Jewel In Oxford’s Crown – we agree, and for us, working here is very much like being part of a family.

Ellivase Hypnobirth Oxford

The Garden is my go-to place for flowers – from single peonies to bouquets of flowers and foliage that exude glorious and distinct scents that will brighten any room and everyone’s day!  I love being able to select my favourite flowers as seasons change as a treat to myself or as a fabulous gift for all occasions – or simply because!

Payne & Son Oxford

The Garden in The Covered Market always has such a wonderful selection of fresh flowers and really helpful and friendly staff. We often go to them to get beautiful flowers to use in our displays and for taking photos of our jewellery.

Louisa Daubney Oxford

Whenever I visit The Covered Market, I am always drawn to The Garden which offers an amazing selection of plants and flowers. The staff are super helpful and have helped me to create lots of beautiful flower arrangements for loved ones over the years. Flowers bring me an enormous amount of joy and certainly fill up my cup when I catch the smell of one as I walk past the shop or indeed treat myself to a bunch!

The Garden brings colour, vibrancy and a veritable floral rainbow right to the heart of The Covered Market. I love that you can buy flowers based on where they were grown, so if like me, you try not to buy flown flowers, it’s a dream! We always buy our Christmas Tree from The Garden too. They hand pick the trees they sell so they’re always a good shape, and easily fit into a stand without any hacking and sawing when you get home!

Three women celebrate outside the upcoming Everybody Studio, a yoga, Pilates and barre studio. The shopfront features large "Coming Soon" window graphics in a warm peach and burnt orange botanical design. All three women have their arms raised in excitement — one stands to the far left in a dark long-sleeved top and black leggings, one in the centre wears a black sweatshirt, and one strikes a dynamic pose in front of the signage in a dark zip-up jacket and patterned leggings. The entrance doors to the unit are visible to the right.NewsNew yoga, Pilates and barre studio opens in Botley
