Situated in the heart of East Oxford, Fusion Arts has been connecting artists and communities and inspiring hundreds of creative bespoke projects since 1977. It is a catalyst for creativity in Oxford, and beyond and over their 40 years they have, and still continue to, respond to challenging social circumstances by delivering meaningful and inclusive artistic experiences.
Formerly known as Bloomin’ Arts, Fusion operates from its base on the corner of Princes St and the Cowley Road in the heart of the artistic East Oxford community. Fusion’s projects reach across Oxfordshire and beyond, working within communities in public and environmental art, participatory art projects and high profile public events such as Cowley Road Carnival and Oxford’s Christmas Light Festival. You’ve likely seen public art projects facilitated by Fusion Arts on your walks around Oxford and Cowley Road!
Their offices are based at Fusion Arts Centre where they have two large workshop spaces and a community Darkroom from which they deliver a thriving programme of exhibitions, music gigs and arts activities for adults, children and special interest groups.
Their dedicated team are constantly fundraising for new projects for continued work with diverse community groups. If you have ideas for creative projects that they could help with and work in partnership with you on, then please get in touch!
Currently the venue is closed but the Fusion team are still working on remote projects. See their What’s On page for more details.
