    Oxfordshire Inclusive Economy Charter

    Indie Oxford has signed the Oxfordshire Inclusive Economy Charter to support a more inclusive County. The Charter was created by the Oxfordshire Inclusive Economy Partnership, a group of over 100 organisations working together to share knowledge, expertise and resources to address some of our county’s greatest challenges.

    Can’t get enough of this new coffee shop… 😏 If yo Can’t get enough of this new coffee shop… 😏 If you’re already familiar with @missingbeancoffeeshops then you know their coffee is great, their food is delicious, and their venues are unique. But the new Cowley cafe is HUGE, and surprisingly cosy for such a big space. It’s a beautiful venue, with lots of nooks and warmed lighting, and a good number of plug sockets for anyone looking to bring along their laptops. It’s the latest in a series of cafe openings from the Missing Bean team, and it doesn’t disappoint. The quiches are a new addition - I tried the traditional quiche Lorraine, but they serve a veggie option as well - all made in house by their brilliant chef/baker, Jess. The freshly made coleslaw was tasty, with a tasty pop of fennel and the bacon in the quiche was generous. It’s well worth a visit if you haven’t been, and if you work on the Oxford Business Park, you are in for a treat! Your breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks just got a whole lot tastier. Running an independent business can feel lonely at times and these meet ups exist to change that. Whether people came along with a challenge they’d been sitting on, a win they wanted to share, or simply needed a couple of hours in good company, everyone left with something. That’s the magic of this community. If you’ve ever thought about coming along to one of our meet ups but haven’t quite made it yet, we’d love to see you at the next one.
