ABOUT

Payne & Son is an historic family jewellers & silversmiths that specialises in selling gold, platinum & silver jewellery, gem set jewellery and silver items. The business was established in 1790 in Wallingford and has had a presence on Oxford’s High St. since 1889, run by the same family (currently 8th generation).

Check out the interview with the Payne & Son team on the Independent Oxford blog.

They were also featured in the Rediscover Oxford campaign- see the video on the Independent Oxford YouTube.

We love being able to sell quality British made future heirlooms. Working with rare and unusual gemstones, jewellery & silverware that has been expertly crafted using very unique & skilled craftsmanship. It’s also great being a part of an often very special occasion or moment in our customers’ lives.
