Seeking a way to find deeper connections within Oxford city and it’s community, photographer Philippa James set out to meet one hundred women who live here, most of whom started off as strangers.

She spent months being invited into one hundred homes, drinking one hundred cups of coffee, and listening to more than one hundred stories.  There has been laughter, hugs and tears shared over meaningful conversations.

In this on-line photography exhibition, Philippa shares a portrait of each woman and a small extract from their story. Now she invites you to meet them too.
