The Mayor’s Charities are planning to hold a Quiz Night in The Crown & Thistle on Friday 11^th February, 7pm. The goal of this event is to increase awareness of the charities, raise money and have fun!

Last year Abingdon Mayor, Cllr Cheryl Briggs, nominated Abingdon DAMASCUS Youth Project (ADYP) and Yellow Submarine as her chosen charities. Both local to Abingdon, these charities both strive for equality, diversity and inclusion within our community; ADYP empowering young people challenged by adverse social circumstances to create positive change and Yellow Submarine supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to live life to the full.
