Ways of Seeing: Objects

Come along to Drawing Club – a relaxed, playful space where curiosity matters more than getting it right. Whether you’ve never picked up a pencil before, enjoy drawing from time to time or make art every day, everyone is welcome.
Together we’ll discover just how many ways there are to draw the same object. You’ll choose an everyday object before exploring it through the eyes of different artists and creative styles, from Basquiat to Yayoi Kusama, Matisse to David Hockney, Grayson Perry to Hannah Höch and many more. Rather than trying to copy their work, you’ll use their ideas as playful prompts to experiment and discover new ways of seeing.
