For this session of our Drink and Write series we will be traveling back in time and precisely to Pompeii in 79 AD, right before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, one of the deadliest of all time.

How did life look like in this prosperous Roman city on the Bay of Naples before it was covered in ashes and lapilli? What where the last words, gestures, thoughts of the people of Pompeii as they faced the destructive force of the vulcano?

Our very own Greta Colombani will lead you through the lava and guide you as you write some incandescent flash fiction on THURSDAY 28 NOVEMBER, 6-8pm.
