The exhibition seeks to give voice to marginalized experiences within healthcare, with an emphasis on the lived experiences of disabled artists. The title RESONATE BODIES recognizes the human body as a vessel which resonates, whether that is the sound of ones’ own breath, heartbeat, or the resonance of memories and accumulated experiences. The exhibition invites its viewers to examine their own relationships to their bodies and reflect upon their own interactions with the healthcare system.
