ONCE A DESIGNER….ALWAYS A DESIGNER
Emma worked in the beauty and fashion industry for 20 years and is the founder of the global skin care range Emma Hardie Skin Care. After a head injury she retired from corporate life and set up her flourishing open design studio in Summertown. Here she designs, makes and sells her high quality and vibrant pieces of jewellery, fashion pieces, accessories art and decorative pieces for your home.
Vibrant colours and textures gives Emma’s work that extra wow factor. Her quality and quirkiness is inspired from working in high end fashion and beauty, it was here that Emma’s eye was drawn into the wonderful and eccentric, exotic and flamboyant world of haute couture, which is visible throughout her designs.
Emma also featured on Channel 4’s Ten Years Younger as the natural face rejuvenation expert, and offers her cult Natural Face Rejuvenation Facial at her studio.
How can you not love designing and working with vibrant colours and textures, and creating beautiful wearable art! I particularly love working on commissions for people. It’s the best job in the world! Oxford is full of inspiration and beauty which helps the design process and it’s a joy and privilege to live here.
