SUMMARY:Cally Trench and Tineke Bruijnzeels: Day after day after day
DESCRIPTION:Daily drawings by the two artists lie at the heart of this exhibition: Tineke Bruijnzeels’ project ‘One more line a day’ using a wide variety of materials and Cally Trench’s ‘Left Hand\, Right Hand’ drawings in ink. Both projects reveal the passage of time\, and focus on the unit of the day – the most important measure of time in our lives\, the unit that governs our routines of waking\, sleeping\, eating and work. \nThe exhibition also includes Tineke’s new patterned abstract oil paintings; curiosity and play are the driving forces behind this project: within the rules that Tineke has set herself\, what will emerge? \nThis will also be the first chance to see Cally’s new series of drawings of flooded houses\, which continue her exploration of the fragility of everyday life\, as well as a new board game and animation films. \nOpening hours: Mon – Sat 10am – 4pm\nClosed: Sun and Bank Holidays \nExhibition Opening\nTuesday 30 June 6-8pm \nDrawing Workshop with the Artists\nThursday 2 July 2-3.30pm\nFree event / booking required \nMeet Cally Trench\nWednesday 15 July 11am-12.30pm \nExhibition Tour and Discussion with the Artists\nSaturday 8 August 2-4pm\nFree event / booking required
