Join The Oxford Wine Company for their next virtual tasting. They’ll be taking you on a grand tour of Italy by letting our taste buds visit four key viticultural areas: Piemonte, Tuscany, Abruzzo and Sicily.

They’ll be starting north-west Italy with Produttori del Gavi Il Forte, Gavi DOCG and Barolo Pio Cesare. Gavi is the classic white grape of Piemonte, while the king, Nebbiolo, meets its most long-lived expression in Barolo. From there, we’ll travel south to Central Italy to try a Pecorino from Abruzzo and a Super Tuscan from Tuscany. We’ll finish the tour in Sicily with two Etna wines. This cool climate area and its volcanic soils produce some gorgeous wines. We’ll be trying Pietradolce ‘Archineri Bianco’, Etna Sicily and Etna Rosso, Tenuta delle Terre Nere.

All the wines come in our tasting pack. The pack includes six 50ml sample bottles, bottled in an anaerobic environment and sealed under argon by Avino to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. We recommend one pack per person taking part in this tasting.
