Sanders of Oxford continues a long tradition of selling antique prints and maps from their historic premises on Oxford’s High Street. As one of the longest running, and last remaining, general antique print sellers left in the world their shop contains a vast array of stock. Operating somewhere between a shop and a gallery they aim to provide a less intimidating, and more inviting, backdrop to browse their varied and extensive collection of prints and maps than their history might suggest. Sanders sell antique prints and maps from the 15th – 20th century, covering virtually every subject and location you can think of. These sit alongside a collection of works by UK based contemporary print makers, priced to suit every pocket. All of the prints and maps they sell are guaranteed original, with no reproductions, copies, or digital prints.

Sanders of Oxford only works because we are on the High Street in Oxford. Our long history and success is based upon the interests of the amazing and ever changing variety of people who live, work, and visit the city every year.
– Philip Marston, Owner
Sanders have an amazing collection of prints for every pocket (also do a spectacular range of glass Christmas ornaments when it’s the season). Staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable – excellent place for gifts or treating yourself.
– Bethanie Bhasin, Co-Owner of Bunny & Bear Designs
Sanders is an absolute gem of a city centre shop, full of unique and fascinating prints, situated in the 17th century Salutation Inn, making you feel like you are truly stepping back in time, and making the historic prints feel all the more enchanting.
