Kinfolk is an independent, full-service marcomms consultancy. It specialises in offering start-Ups, SMEs, and challenger brands, smart, simple marketing solutions that deliver real results.
Established in 2019 by experienced PR Gemma Dilworth, Kinfolk brings together a carefully curated collective of specialist PRs, marketers and content creators to provide end-to-end communications solutions including strategy and positioning, media relations, social and digital marketing and everything in between.
After years of working for big corporates, Gemma recognised that the traditional approach of bricks-and-mortar agencies with fixed expensive retainers meant a host of brilliant businesses couldn’t afford, or get access to the marketing expertise they deserved. So she designed a new, more flexible ‘plug and play’ way of working.
Working in partnership with clients to understand their USPs and objectives, Kinfolk brings together the best team to design tailored marketing solutions that truly connect with target audiences and deliver real value to your bottom line.
After years of working with and for the big corporates in London, I decided I wanted a change and set up my own food business. Though I loved every second the experience personally taught me just how difficult it was as an independent owner to juggle running and operating a business, whilst marketing myself to my target audiences. It also frustrated me to see so many other brilliant independent businesses struggle to cut through against the big brands with deep pockets. And so Kinfolk was born.
I still pinch myself every day that I get to work with such a fab bunch of creative and entrepreneurial founders and there’s no better job satisfaction than seeing the genuine difference we can make to their businesses as an outsourced partner.
