ABOUT

Gaia Botanics is a small, ethical, apothecary kitchen handcrafting nourishment for the skin in the historical city of Oxford, creating traditional artisan, Palm free soaps, solid shampoo and conditioner bars, along with luxury bath salts. The recipes are formulated and blended by a qualified Medical Herbalist using a fusion of pure, natural ingredients to care for the skin. The formulations are inspired by the rich simplicity of nature – simple, beneficial and deeply rooted in nature. Gaia Botanics soaps do not contain any man made nasties and are only coloured (if at all) with what nature has provided in the way of herbs, spices and superfoods!

Debbie, founder of Gaia Botanics, also enjoys making natural, durable and functional products using beautiful, natural fabrics, which encourage re use. This includes linen toiletry bags, linen bread/produce bags and organic Lavender sleep pillows, using Lavender hand picked and dried in Oxfordshire.

The webpage for Gaia Botanics is currently under construction.

You can find Debbie’s creations and zero waste products at East Oxford Farmers market.

Debbie also hand delivers locally – so if you are looking for wedding favours, to wholesale, gifts or a treat for yourself, do get in touch.

Stockists of Gaia Botanics, local artisan soaps include Indigo on Cowley Road, Wild Honey and Iffley Village Community Shop.

I have lived in Oxford for a good many years and absolutely love the city! It’s full of lots of green spaces, wonderful architecture and bustling with all sorts of interesting people, not to mention an array of incredible independent businesses. To be growing my ethical business in this beautiful city is rewarding and I love all the positive feedback that I get from customers.
