Charlbury the next stop for Missing Bean Coffee Shops, with new Café opening this October.
Missing Bean, one of Oxfordshire’s most loved independent coffee roasters and cafés, is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest location in Charlbury this October.
Located in the heart of the town on Market Street, Missing Bean Charlbury will bring its signature ethically sourced coffee, artisanal bakes, sustainable ethos, and friendly atmosphere to this beautiful Cotswold setting.

A new chapter for a local favourite.
Founded in 2009, Missing Bean has grown from a single Café on Turl Street into a small network of beloved locations across Oxfordshire, complete with its own in-house roastery & bakery in East Oxford. The Charlbury Café will serve freshly roasted, single-origin beans, alongside a curated menu of home-baked breakfast & lunch items, and fresh bread every single morning –the full offering currently enjoyed daily across their other sites. The café will offer a welcoming environment for the local community, as well as visitors, walkers, remote workers, and four-legged friends.
To celebrate the opening, Missing Bean have created a fun competition for the Charlbury locals, with 5 Golden Tickets hidden

In addition, Missing Bean will host a launch party prior to opening, to provide an opportunity for residents, businesses, and future
friends to embrace the new space and to get to know the team. There will also be a handful of other exciting events on offer
surrounding the opening, including an installment of their infamous Coffee Tasting Night.
Community at the core
As part of their commitment to local connection, Missing Bean has already partnered with local suppliers and is recruiting managers and baristas from the area. The new Café will also offer a range of community-focused initiatives, including:
- A loyalty scheme for regulars
- A Click and Collect service connected to their website, so residents can have access to the full Missing Bean repertoire, whenever they need it
- A range of events, including pop-ups by local artists and supper clubs.
