Our modern yoga practice is indebted to Patannjali’s system, which includes the physical (asana), breathing (pranayama) and mediation practices we are familiar with. The foundation of this system is the Yamas and Niyamas, a set of personal and social values and practices that can support us in our day to day life.
Join Miranda for a two hour workshop of learning, exploration and play as we start to uncover what the Yamas and Niyamas actually are, what they might mean to us, and how we can start to practise them both in our daily routines and on our mats as a space to get to know them – and ourselves – a little bit better!
Open to all levels, great for anyone who wants to delve a little deeper into the philosophical tradition behind the mat!
