ABOUT
The Market Cellar Door is a tiny ‘Hybrid’ wine shop and wine bar in Oxford’s Covered Market. They sell over 200 wines from around the world, including organic, low intervention and English wines, alongside the classics. They also have 6 wines available ‘on-tap’ for refilling your own bottles, or for enjoying a glass with food from around the market… Including Oysters from the neighbouring fishmonger! The shop & bar is owned & operated by the teams behind Eynsham Cellars Wine Merchants and ChurchHanbrewery, who also run Teardrop bar next door, where there is a fantastic selection of ales.

Between us we have 30 years experience in the wine trade, which we think is the best job in the world! We’re always learning and finding exciting new things. Between us we also have the experience of running Teardrop Nano-pub next door for the past year. We love the buzz of Oxford, with the mix of regular locals and tourists.
